A source told OK magazine:
"Miley saw this [red enamel] Hidalgo ring and said to her mom,
'OMG, I need to get one of these for Ashley'.
"She asked to order two - one for her and Ashley
because they both collect things with horseshoes on them."
The source added:
"The [pair] really close, and this is their little way to say 'hi'.
With their crazy schedules, it's how they stay connected."
The pair just missed out a London rendezvous last week -
Ashley was in the city for the premiere of High School Musical 3: Senior Year
in Leicester Square last Tuesday while Miley arrived in the UK
at the weekend for her first ever gig in the country, as part of the BBC Switch Live event.
